Turning Point Client Nicholas Pastorious Signs With the Soo Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League

Turning Point Sports Management client Nicholas Pastorious has signed an OHL Education Agreement with the Soo Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. Pastorious, 16, was a 3rd Round Selection, 61st overall in the Ontario Priority Selection which occurred in March of this year. The 6 foot 185 pound forward played for the Mississauga Rebels Midgets in the greater Toronto area this past season, participating in 68 games, scoring 16 goals, adding 19 assists and accumulating 158 penalty minutes to go with his +67 rating.
“Nick is a powerful skating, strong, hard hitting player, who can play the game any way you want to play it. He can be creative, he can hit, he can engage when needed, he can play defense, he has the chance to be a great power forward in the OHL and beyond,” said Darcy Tucker, Turning Point Hockey Director. “It is a tribute to Nick’s intense and assertive game that he was picked high by the Soo, and he has a very bright future in the OHL with this team who values the assets that he brings to the game. I’m happy for Nick and look forward to watching him progress as he works towards establishing himself in the OHL.”Pastorious will travel to Sault Ste. Marie to begin his first Major Junior training camp with the Soo Greyhounds, who have quite a history in the OHL and in Junior Hockey history for decades. Nicholas resides in the greater Toronto area with his parents, Walter and Doris.
